Our Team


Lydia graduated from the University of Otago in 2014 and has been serving the Southland community since then. She loves all aspects of dentistry and most of all she loves putting a smile on all her patients especially the anxious ones.


Hilary graduated from Otago University in 1991. She had a great start to her career in a busy Nelson practice, gaining valuable experience as a general dentist before heading overseas on her O.E. On her return to NZ, she married Murray and they settled in his home region of Southland, where Hilary found work with Craig Waterhouse.


Kate graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago in 2008 and has since worked in hospital, community and private dental practice in Southland. She is a born and bred Southlander, and is pleased to have returned to the deep south. Kate became co-owner of Tooth Works in 2019.


Kelvin graduated from the University of Otago in 2013. He enjoys dentistry and strives to provide quality treatment in all aspects of dental care. Kelvin also regularly attends continued education courses in order to keep up to date in this rapidly advancing profession.

Dental Hygienist

After working as a School Dental Therapist in Southland for several years Donna spent 7 years in England and the U.S.A. While in the U.S.A Donna returned to college and studied Dental Hygiene, as well as working part-time as a dental assistant in an oral surgery department at a local hospital.

Practice Manager

Anne-Marie has been involved in the dental industry for over 18 years in both private practice and at Southland Hospital. She has an excellent knowledge of dentistry and will do her best to answer any questions or queries you may have.
